Just Watched ROCKY... Questions?

i thought the movie was great.....the people in the theater afterwards gave it a standing ovation so i said fawk it and joined in......i say tarver did a decent job but damn he looked flabby....overall the emotion in this movie is what carried it and balboa vs. dixon now has to go down as one of the best heavyweight fights of all time......

For some reason when I watch the Rocky movies, I do not see him as Stallone. The guy is Rocky to me

i though the movie was awful. just plain awful, stallone's acting was dreadfully bad, paulie's was okay and those two punk kids ... his son and the black kid ... horrid - as was the weak sub-plots... maybe it was the way his eyes were welling up w/ water and his face still didn't seem to budge because of all the procedures done to it that had me weirded out. only good thing about the flick was laughing at the bad acting, my niece thought i liked it cuz "tio was laughing" .... i gotta side w/ the opponents of this movie, IV should have been the last rocky.

I agree wholeheartedly. I am a huge film buff and admirer of the first Rocky film. This one was pure garbage. There are too many flaws in storytelling. It all comes across as forced, especially the beginning and all its references to the first movie. Seriously, the first 45 minutes are NOTHING MORE than Stallone going to places and taking about stuff that happened in Rocky 1. Very dissapointing.

I thought they made Tarver look tougher then he should've been...like his jab made Rocky look weak so that ******...It wasn't the ending I was hoping for but was still good...The movie overall was a good ending to the Anthology.

But I liked Rocky 5, how are you going to deny it, the fight at the end of Rocky V was awesome...Street fight was cool...

Manny Stewart wasn't in it...He had better **** to be doing. lol. Really good movie in my opinion..great way to end the series. Not all that much action so if you don't like dramas don't watch it.

The more important thing that Manny was doing was working Jermain Taylor's corner.

They shot the ringwalk and HBO commentary on the night of Jermain Taylor/Bernard Hopkins II.

I liked the movie alot, actully.
I noticed how they used actual footage of Tarver when showing clips of his wins. I saw Glenn Johnson in there somewhere.
