Paulie's too much for Edner Cherry, he'll outbox Cherry easily. About Paulie bragging on his fight with Cotto, someone needs to tell this kid that he survived due to his excessive clinching, I thought it was a smart move at times but when it clearly became excessive a point should've been deducted, fight should've also been stopped in the 12, when he quit fighting and was just trying to survive.

Overall, I think he has heart, good speed and decent boxing ability, but I'm not impressed with him and I don't think he'll be able to beat any of those champs.

This is boxing and anything can happen, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Cherry win the fight but I think Paulie will give him lots of movement and won't stand in front of Cherry to get caught by that hard right hand.

C'mon. Prefight Paulie talks big, like he's some world beater. Its easy to be humble postfight after getting pounded and looking like a horror show. Fact is, the guy is feather-fisted, undoubtably slick and has heart, but really he's only beaten a bunch of scrubs.

I give him credit for being more competative than I thought possible with Cotto (and all heart no brains for going toe to toe as much as he did), but I still think Paulie will go down in history as a b-level fighter: easily capable against limited opposition but will have mixed results when he steps up the competition.
