i suppose its how you view boxing, but i would say a boring fight is when both fighters are on the defense most the time, hardly throwing, waiting to dodge punches, but they never come,i do like technical skill full fights, but not to the point where they hardly hit eachother, but i dont know, some people might like that
what do u consider a boring fight?

you dont really need to say what a boring fight is. you just know when ur watching one.
clinching, lack of action/initiative are the two big things that make a fight boring.Comment

I have 2 that always come to mind when people say boring.
1) You haven't seen boring until you've seen Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Derrick Gainer. Easily the most boring fight I've ever seen. I do imagine there have been 15 rounders similar to it which would top it, I just haven't seen them and never want to. I'm fairly certain people cheered the headbutt that ended the fight. I know I did.
2) Tarver-Jones III, which was entirely Roy's fault for not wanting to fight. I guess I can't claim it was horrendously boring because Tarver did almost knock his ***** ass out again, which would have been terrific. Oh well, Jones gets more criticism for just trying to survive so that's fine too. But this was the most boring big fight I've seen.Comment
