I'm not racist, I just don't like "thug" fighters.

I've never seen a more complete boxer then PBF and I've seen all of them, I have no problem with him thinking he's the greatest of all time. BTW Floyd is not just a runner, he can fight many different styles that is if you've seen him fight over the last 10 years.

I think at the core level of this thread is the statement that certain attitudes in an athlete do not agree with some people. I thought the opinion expressed was done very intelligently so I have no reason to attack anyone as a racist. What I will say is that, speaking of fighters that we just can't stand, I have a few.

Zab Judah : ******, thug mentality without the common decency to lose like a man or admit failures. Wasted potential.

Antonio Tarver: You beat Roy Jones, Jr. Cong****. You built your career on that "legend killer" and then ran your mouth until it made you look a tad...silly?

Fernando Vargas : It's fun to be rough and tough when you're young and on steroids and think you can drop every fighter you face. When you're older, starting to chunk up, slow down, and have gotten off the juice, though, it's time to shut the **** up. Loud mouth fighters.

Notice how you listed the accomplishments and detriments of those fighters though, there is a difference in how you said it, and how he said it. Your post feels like an attack on character, rather than an entire culture/style. which is totally acceptable.

I just don't understand why you don't have a lot more respect for them even though they are "thugs". They are very good boxers.... I hate the dumb attitude but I just can't disreguard their talent.

And what is a 37 year old sheltered Grampa who seems to not know anything posting here? Why don't you answer the question instead of making yourself look like a predjudice geratol drinking ass. And the correct spelling of it George Burns is: "know what I'm sayin".

Having respect for someone and being a fan are two different things. I have respect for Adolf Hitler's oratory skills and his ability to gain control of an entire country and turn it into a world power. The man was a genius. Am I a fan of Hitler? No, I never will be.

Manny Steward, is that the same guy that told Taylor to stay away from Oouma and said Floyd was boring but Klitschko isn't. Man please, Steward is biased and for the record he never said Floyd wasn't great just not on SRR level. And by the way avoiding punches, circling you opponent is not running, that's called boxing, the sweet science. Yo need to rewatch his fights and you will notice he never runs or back pedal. He uses lateral movement and he is always in front of his opponents face.
