Its hard to say how you would actually react in that type of situation, since it is so ****ed up. It would be hard to not help out your mom since no matter what she has done, she is still your mom. At the same time, he was her own kid and she abandoned him, so **** that twat.

The mom WANTED the kid back. But when his mom asked her new boyfriend he refused so she was forced to turn him down.

If i was miranda, i would except the appology and give some thanks to the only reason he's alive... that woman!

In many latin american cultures the father has absolute power. This is called a patriarchy. It isn't like in the average family in the USA where you see women working and having a big say in family decisions; down there the man is pretty much the boss, no questions asked.

That may be a bit of an exaggeration and may not apply to EVERY latin america country, but it's much more slanted in favor of the male head of a houshold down in central and south america.
