People give Mayorga no credit, hes beat top fighters and won world championships.
Can you name a fighter with better competition?

He never quit fighting but he just doesnt belong in there with A list HOF.
He could have went a long way but Don King tossed him to the wolfs to make the biggest paydays.

the guy is a natural welter weight. He blew up to 160 to fight tito.

I agree...his best weight is 147, though he cant make it anymore.

??? Tito was a "natural welter" too... He went up and destroyed Joppy. At 147, Tito would have HURT Mayorga too. No excuses...Now, Mayo walks around at 190lbs...how do you figure he is a balerina?
