The punches being thrown in Rocky 6 were as hard as Sylvester Stallone and Antonio Tarver were able to throw. In a recent interview with the NY Post, Tarver revealed that he hit Stallone so hard on the head, that he actually broke his knuckle and needed to wear a soft cast. [details]

Why are they saying all this **** about Stallone being KO'd and Tarver breaking his knuckles days before the movie starts? It smells like bull**** to me. They are saying all this now, and not while they were filming it. Tarver didn't use this knuckle **** as an excuse for Hopkins but he did say the **** about the weight, Stallone nevermentioned any of this before, etc.
Just sounds like hype. Since the first movies were very unrealistic in terms of the fight scenes (and since Stallone is a pure businessman) it makes sense to be saying this **** now. But I just don't buy it. Tarver KO'd Roy Jones with one punch, but 60 year-old Stallone was taking his punches? Yeah right. Oh, and no way that **** abut him going to the hospital is real. No way he risks his life at 60 years of age for the sake of making a realistic movie.Comment
