    Injin Chi Reclaims WBC Title

    Has anyone seen any Rodlpho lopez' fights? He apparently beat the guy that just recently beat Chi. Just wondering if Lopez even has a shot vs InJin Chi

    I seen the lopez fight with the guy Chi lost too,he didnt look like anything special,but he did drop & stop the guy like in the 7th.

    The wbc also has this ****** cut rule,I think its if you get cut,you lose a round 10-8 or something,and that also cost chi.

      For Lopez to be on the safe side, he should try to knockout Chi. Its hard to get the decision win in someones hometown.

          KNOCKING OUT CHI AINT NO EASY TASK THO!!
          morales couldn't do it and that was when he was a monster.
          chis loss to koshimoto was a bad day at the office as he seemed to take him lightly,
          his timing was well off and at times he just didn't seem to have the will to grab the fight by it's throat.
          koshimoto is a limited fighter who fought a great fight for 1 night,
          which was proven when he lost to the 18-2-1 lopez in his first defence.

          ya gotta give props to lopez for fighting chi in his first defence,
          but i dont see the youngster being able to phase chi when it goes into the trenches.

          unless a shot chi appears which is possible as he's been talking about retirement for a couple of years i dont see lopez lasting past the 9th.

            i got this off ********* today;

            Featherweight In-jin Chi (31-3-1, 18 KOs) recaptured the WBC featherweight title with a unanimous decision over defending titlist Rudy Lopez (19-3-1, 13 KOs) on Sunday at the Chungmu Art Hall in Seoul, Korea. Scores were 117-111, 116-112 and 116-113. Chi overcame an apparently fractured finger in round eight and was still fighting hard at the end to preserve the win. It was Chi's first fight since losing the title to Takashi Koshimoto by split decision in January. Koshimoto was defeated by Lopez in his first defense, and now Lopez has reliquished the belt in his first defense, as well.

                  It's too bad Chi doesn't get bigger fights. He has been one of the top 5 feathers over the last 6 years but has no resume to go with it. Why does he not get bigger fights and whose fault is it?
