B-Hop for reasons that other people stated. Strength and size would prevail in the long run. If they were the same size, PBF.

Even if they are the same size, Hopkins is still much stronger p4p.

I think this fight is too close to call. On one hand, Floyd is very fast and Hopkins has had trouble with speed. But the fast guys that Hops lost to also had good power, unlike Floyd. Furthermore, Floyd has problems with rough fighters like Castillo, so Bernard would be a tough task for him.

In a mythical p4p matchup, Floyd does not get the advantage of age, because it is assumed they are both in their prime. Bernard can fight going forward very well, and would let his hands go with Floyd as not many fighters are able to do.

I take Bernard by razor thin UD. 115-113.

Funny thing is, Hopkins could have made 154 a few years ago...and Floyd is about to fight there. (^_^)

          I dont know about that....

of his nine super featherweight title fights he stopped six. Thats 2/3 of his title fights at his best weight.

Of Hopkins 20 title defenses he stoped 13, a little more than half.

If Floyd stayed at his best weight like Hopkins did you wouldnt be talking about his feather fists.

You know what decides this one for me? Power. Bernard is crafty, slick, has a good defense and old school technique. I understand the hypothetical fight scenario of the smaller, slicker, craftier fighter taking on the bigger man who has to rely on his punch. A David and Goliath encounter. Hopkins- Mayweather doesn't play out like that to me. Bernard is not a hulking, slow, or defense deficient big man. He's a smooth, skilled master of his craft. Now, let's say there was no weight differential- in the sense that we weren't asking Floyd to pack on pound and loose his speed. They fight as is. Sure, Mayweather would be faster...but...is Bernard unable to deal with that? I mean, he has a good chin and Floyd can't hurt him- he's got very good skills and as has been said, can throw at tricky and awkward angles. He showed us power at Light Heavyweight. This is not a big man/big punch vs. a smaller, smarter, faster fighter. This is large man with good defense and skill vs. small man with good defense and skill. Bernard's size would help him win this fight.

            Hopkins by KO.

there comes a point where floyd and his ego will not be able to beat a boxer and if this fight happened id say his clean sheet would end and with a ****, Hopkins KO 8
