But thats where YOU are wrong... My personal feelings will not cloud my judgement of Floyds skills.. Without a doubt.. he is the best ACTIVE boxer alive today.. His performances are dominant and often flawless..

Its not even close. Floyd has accomplished alot more in his career and is still at the peak of the sport wininng titles at higher and higher weights.
A win over a clearly faded and spend Erik Morales is no bounds from jumping from 2 or 3 to 1, e****ially seeing as Floyd absolutly outclassed the welterweight linear championship.

then leave it at that. nothing else needs to really be argued from you. and, for the poster who commented that he or she doesn't repsect or take guys on this forum seriously who had some type of floyd's name or nickname as their username, that is irrevelant to say the least. who cares what username people have on hear. it doesn't take away the quality of arguments defending floyd.

welter, you need to realize that floyd mayweather's personal life is his own, and need to leave it alone like many others on here. when kids watch floyd and aspire to be like him, hopefully most of the time they want to be like floyd mayweather, the boxer, not the mayweather outside the ring. is he ****y? hell yeah, but who cares if he gets the job done in the ring. is he disrespectful? he can be and has been for years now, but who cares. his private life is his private life and nobody's business. this is boxing, not the maury show.

i am a huge fan of floyd mayweather jr. because i respect his fight game, that's it. whatever problems he has with his father, then let them hash it out, and if he disrespects his father in your eyes, then close them and leave it at that. you, me, and nobody else in this forum is in any position to judge floyd's life personally. professionally, we can judge his performances in the ring. i feel that floyd does not try to be a role model, and who cares. if you love boxing, then focus on boxing. too many times people shy away from what celebrities accomplish on film, television , and sports and foucs on their private life. floyd is no angel, but when he fights, he puts on sensational performances, and that's what matters to me in the end, nothing else he does bothers me.

i'll never take anything away from you and your arguments on him, because you're entitled to your opinion and that's that. but, many of you on here lose the task at hand, talking about boxing. this is a boxing forum, not what floyd does on the outside forum. floyd's fans will defend him, because he is a human just like the rest of us, and he has, does, and probably will **** up again in the future. as long as he's representing in the ring, i could give a damn about whta he does in his personal life. let's stick to boxing. many of us don't know what's going on between floyd and his father, so let's not speculate.

Not even close? You're kidding yourself. Your arguments lately have become a lot less rational and a lot more personal to make up for the lack of coherency.

Pac beat Morales 3 times, smashed Barrera, and beat up Larios...all of who were/are top 5 in their division. Beating Morales 3 times (faded or not) is arguably a good bit better than beating Baldomir just once.
