In a nutshell, if your son is an arrogant little prick who runs his mouth a lot and disrespects you, tells you he doesn't need your help, would have kicked your ass on your best day, etc.......IT'S GONNA PISS YOU OFF.

Sr. doesn't box anymore; but he trains a guy who is gonna be facing Jr.....so, in a way, if De La Hoya kicks Floyd Jr.'s ass, Sr. is kicking Floyd Jr.'s ass and giving him a big old fat Told ya so, dumbass!

This is simply a case of a father wanting a son, who's got too big for his britches, to get his come-upance....and wants to have something to do with it.

        Kind of a belated asswhoopin'.

Definitely not "nuthugging". Its just that I know much more about the whole situation and more about Floyd as a person than you ever could and when you're wrong, you're wrong. Its not just that you're flat out wrong, but you say ridiculous things.

Ya'll seem to forget that Sr. took a ******* blast to the leg for his son.. Even after all that risking his life for his son his son still disrespects him and is not thankful or gives him any credit. Like Sr. said Floyd isn't gonna help his pops out his not gonna give him one dime, So Sr. has to make money the best way he knows to make money to train boxers.. Floyd Jr. knew that Oscar De La Hoya was Sr. boxer and he still called him out.. That's not only sticking your face in your dads business but digging in it and is also disrespectful. Oscar didn't call Floyd out Floyd said he wanted him first. Floyd taking the fight with Oscar shows he has no respect for his father at all. Sr. has the right to be pissed, if I had a son who was like Jr. I would have been whooped his ass.

Floyd has been wanting a fight with DLH since before him and his father split. If you go back and watch the Corrales fight (I believe), Lampley even talks about it. Does that make it disrespectful for the father to train a guy who he knows his son has been wanting to fight for years?

i dont remember why but its roger and floyd vs floyd sr. but floyd sr is so pissed at his son that he wants his son to lose and maybe get some humility out of it.

he wants his son to be humbled. and i think by now, floyd jr deserves it.
