The Word with John "Iceman" Scully

Veteran trainer and fighter John "Iceman" Scully may be only 39 years of age, but they don't come as seasoned in the sport as does this Hartford native. After a distinguished professional and amateur career that made him a local legend and earned him a world title opportunity, Scully now lends his knowledge and understanding of the sport to younger charges that he helps to mold into contenders. I spoke with boxing guru about his stable and the continuing education of a modern boxing icon. [details]

Clay-Bey is doing real well, still working long hours with the DOC. His son, a good amateur boxer in his own right, also just played in the state HS Football championship game as a FB. Seems to be happy, same as always.

Clay-Bey could star in a movie about The Fridge. He'd be perfect for it. And then Iceman can play Jim McMahon.
