the issue is he is consistently gaining weight.. in 6'4 myself.. i would not be able to meet the 190 pound limit because i am naturally too big for that... and 231 would be overweight for me by about 15 pounds.

usually guys who, like gomez, who come into fights at arbitrary weights arent actually training the way theyre supposed to the reality is that he was 4 pounds over his previous high which was for the diaz fight which you excused as "lack of training" so id say the same thing must be responsible here.

dont get me wrong, im not trying to tear him down or take a shot at you for being a fan.. i just think the obvious signs are that he really isnt all that serious about being heavyweight champ

I haven't seen JCG fight and the only thing I know about him is his impressive record from boxrec. It's a wonder that he isn't ranked anywhere in the top ten or top twenty of any of the sanctioning bodies; his record is 40-1 with 34 KOs.

The atomic bull has not lost his right hand and chin.

Gomez has the ability to beat anyone out there, unfortunately, it seems as though only the boxing connoisseurs are aware of just how talented this guy really is, with just a handful of others like myself who thinks he has the ability, which he clearly does.

I find it funny also, how these Wladimir Kiltschko fans make excuses about his losses, but yet take great delight in pointing out Gomez' loss. A case of one rule for one and another rule for another?
Gomez has done nothing at heavyweight to warrent a shot at Wlad, and thats just fact, man.

Who exactly has Gomez beat at HW?

Beating Sam is nothing special, A clown riding a tricycle could sidestep his big ass all night long......and the only time Gomez had a shot at fighting a real name (McCall)....he screwed it up by testing positive for crack.

Gomez will have his next fight on 2th or 3th March, i hope he will look better than in his last fight, he was rusty and out of shape. If he doesnt look good in that fight i say hes done and will go nowhere. But i have still some a little hope. The problem is the guy is lazy and dont take the game seriously, but i hope he does it now because hes a VERRY talented boxer.
