What do you think about Andre Berto where does he stand?

Andre Berto has some defense flaws, but overall strong fast puncher. How do you compare him against other Welters?

He is an up and commer. I can see him challenging for a title sometime in the future but i dont see him being Some huge champions.

i see him as a middleweight in the future. he has some flaws in his defense but defense can be learned. he is raw but looks very powerful and fast. he also has the killer instinct. lets just hope he aint rushed though.

I like what I see but it is way to early to make anywhere near a sound judgement on the young man.

he's 23, and 16/0. appears theyre bringing him up right. has the body of a full welter. liked the way he looked in his 16th pro fight. its all there. i'd guess two/three fights away from fighting a top tier.

He brings strength to another level, for those who believe Margarito is freakishly strong for a Welterweight, they'll think twice when they watch this guy.

Im just a boxing purist and unless your some crazy freak, then your not going to last long with no defense. He's another guy in the long line of Offensive studs who will get killed the second they run up on a fundementaly sound boxer even if there not even have as strong as him. Why cant these trainers teach these kids defense anymore? The only kids who know defense are the one's who dont have any kind of power and thats the only way they can survive but when they have teriffic power & offense then the trainers seem to not care about the D.

If they only could combine the 2 then they would make alot of great fighters

Your defense doenst have to be rock solid if you have a solid chin.

Before the fight they had mentioned that Andre had chin trouble in the amatuers...we have not seen it yet but Im sure everyone is watching.
