My James Toney Highlight: Grade It...

Gringo, Nice work buddy! one of the best ive seen. James Toney is the F uckin Man at fightin in the pocket! I hope he blows the nightmare out of the water by TKO maybe that will shut his detractors mouths.

Good video. Seeing the Holyfield clips again was tough. And seeing his fight with Michael Nunn, reminded me of how some people rememeber how great Nunn was at one time as in Jones Jr. type of fighter/invincability.

Thanks fellas. I tried to get a good mix of clips in there...showcasing his skillset and technique. I especially like the opening round of the Barkley fight where Iran tried to come out brawling and Toney stood there and fired man up with him to show him he was there to fight. Of course the Nunn and Littles fights were classic comeback KO's. The Jirov performance was just a systematic, under-the-radar beating as well. One of the greatest final round performances ever.

The Holyfield fight is always hard for me to watch because Evander is one of my all-time favorites. I had to put that fight in there though because Toney completely dismantled him and showed that you don't have to be a big hitter in the least to take down bigger opponents. I know that Holyfield is well past being shot, but it was still a nice performance from Toney.

I hope James can get into fighting shape (whatever that is for him now) so he can have enough in the tank to close the fight strong against Peter. Should be a good fight though.

You know I don't respect Toney for his personality and will admit that I haven't cared much for Toney, nor followed him prior to his Jirov and than Holyfield fights.. but it's amazing to see this tiny guy fighting HWs now even though luck always ends up in the opposite corner of the ring for him
