I love how people respond to a technical analysis of that fight video with a "uh-uh you a wrong, cause I say so..." like a little child trying to argue.
I gave the guy his props, but I also pointed out stuff he does that can be a weakness. Ask any trainer, if you plant your feet wide to generate power that is a no-no. That's why they tie boxers feet on a string to cure balance issues and foot movement problems.
There's nothing necessarily wrong with wide hooks, or punching uppercuts from the outside like he does "if" you can get away with it, you tend to open yourself to counters when you do that stuff. Especially uppercuts from the outside cause you lower your arm and you have to return it to defense after the punch, where as a hook your arm is ready to go back to defense after the punch.
Just pointing things out. If you don't have the ability to look at flaws you leave no room for improvement. I hope you don't treat your personal life the same way.Comment

Can't believe there are people, who still have no idea what this is all about.
By the way, Hoskins can get away with 3 handstands per round.

If the join date on his profile is correct & that is in fact his first time registering to this site he would not know unless he's told. "That Boooiiiiii hoskins" has been going on for awhile now. Can't believe there are people, who still have no idea what this is all about.

I get it, man. I remember when it was funny as hell a few months ago...still is, actually; but I wanted to just point out that the kid does have pretty good handspeed. That's the first time I'd seen him in the ring. Before, all I'd seen was that goofy shadow-boxing exhibition in someone's back yard. Can't believe there are people, who still have no idea what this is all about.

He's got good speed and I'd bet he's probably got above average power; but just wanted to notate the obvious concerning his balance and technique...or lack of both. If he didn't try to do the "killer flurry" thing and fought at a more measured pace with a consistant jab, etc...
Well, anyway. Yeah, I get it....just wanted to not talk about how he and Bryan Boytano defeated Mega-Streisand with their fire breath before the rest of the JLA showed up and what-not for a change.Comment
