Cuevas vs. Duran right now on OLN

This seems like a hell of fight. I've never seen it before, so I gotta go watch. Also, I never knew that Roberto Duran is half Mexican.

if its the fights i seen on 64 versus earlier this week youre in for a treat. duran/pepino cuevas was amazing and the duran/davey moore is incredible.
notice the ringside announcers jake lamotta and some gal named vicky,its hilarious.

Both are great performances by Duran, the kind of fights that turn casual fans into real fans. If I was to recommend 5 or 6 Duran fights to someone, I think I would choose those two for the bunch.

The Duran - Moore fight was nasty.

Never seen a fighter enjoy himself taking another fighter apart as much as Duran did that night. Savagely brutal but facinating at the same time.

Most people had written Duran off by this time, after his losses to Leonard & Benitez, & this was supposed to be the crowning of an up & coming star in Moore.
To say it didn't go to plan was the understatement of the year.


The Cuevas fight was great fight - classic Latino war.
As they said about the Hagler-Hearns bout, only complaint is that it didn't go longer.

anyone know who that gal vickey is who is calling the fight with jake la motta in the duran/moore fight? she was far out. and la motta was hilarious.
