If those are his high points in fights then I see why people say he is boring. Still a great fighter to watch, his D is to good and is too cautious to make exciting fights. To each his own, I wouldnt consider his fights exciting because he doesnt take any risks. Soon as someone lands a good blow on him (which is rare) he takes off running.

People "Hate" on someone like Mayweather because they don't like his perceived arrogance...they don't like that he is undefeated, "Perfect", is a scary thing to the majority because they are flawed and they want to see someone else, especially at the top, flawed as well.

The biggest hater out there is Hatton and his latest remarks of saying Floyd walked into the ring like Russell Crow (Gladiator), and walked out like
Sherly Crow...Wow, great comment there Ricky, especially since you left the 147 pound divison faster than the French giving up their country to the Germans.
Exactly, he's "boring" sometimes cause he has to be. He can't go out and fight a guy that outweighs him by 20 lbs with reckless disregard, that's just plain ******.

Uuuuuh....anyone see the Jose Luis Castillo fight? Anyone see the Victoriano Sosa fight? Anyone see the Baldomir fight? Anyone see the Bruseles fight? He can be very boring. But for every boring fight there's a Gatti fight, or an Ndou fight, or a Corley fight or a Coralles fight. The guy can be exciting or he can be very boring. But he is always class. Even if he is a little **** lol

I have always found fighters with "boring" styles like Whitaker and Mayweather exciting. It's only boring because usually they are so much better than their opponent that they dominate them. Any true boxing fan can appreciate the technique and precision that those guys employ night and and night out though.
I appreciate boxers with great skills, because I know I can't do that ****. You rarely see boxers like Whitaker and PBF, that's what makes it so special to me.

I think most of us can brawl like an idiot, I'm not putting down boxers that brawl but nothing special about brawling.

I can hardly stand to watch Gatti, and I only do so because I want to see his opponents. The way he stands bothers the hell out of me.

Also, am I the only one who cannot wait to see De La Hoya get Mayweather on the ropes? That could provide a few beautiful moments.
