Cotto and Margarito are promoted by Arum, for the first time I've seen Cotto actually say he'll beat someone in Margarito, I think its gonna happen in June, IF Margarito beats Williams.

What you have is Margarito, who starves himself for months on end to squeeze into a division he has no business in, against Cotto, who is finally at his proper weight 2 years after I thought he'd be here. In reality, this is a stylistic matchup, one guy with wide telegraphed shots he probably learned on the playground and another who is a skilled, decorated amateur with proficient technical skill. Margarito's weight-cutting measures leave him extremely vulnerable in the midsection, yet no one's gone in there because to do so, you have to step inside his shots. Cotto is the kind of counter-punching sharpshooter who can get inside of those haymakers and make him pay. It also doesn't hurt that Margarito fights in slow-motion for most of the time. I see this as a total wipeout, drastically changing the landscape at 147. This fight will finally make Cotto one of the preeminent crossover stars of the sport. Perfect opponent for the occassion.

Im assuming you've said the samething about Hopkins or Taylor. Or pacquioa seeing how he came in at 144 and show no signs of fat on him he right there is killing himself to make weight 144 for a 130 fight, you got to kidding me.

It will be a great mistake to try and pursue a puncher in Margarito, especially bein the smaller guy like Cotto is. Margarito ko's Cotto inside 8.

You really think Margarito will take Cotto out? How do you see this fight play out any different than the Maussa or Bazan fight for Cotto, considering of course how Margarito looked in his last fight.
