Kassim Ouma's future, where does he go now?

Immediately after the fight, I began to rack my brain for ideas where Kassim should take the Windmill Show. Of course, 154 has always been his weight, that's where business should be centered upon in the future. At 154, he has a ton of great possibilities, including titlists Cory Spinks and Jose Antonio Rivera.

Although he had a great fighter in front of him, I still saw visible deterioration in his balance and overall sharpness that wasn't there a few years ago. Even one of the closer members of his entourage, whose been ringside and at the gym for every fight of his pro career, told me when I asked him on the phone admitted such. I asked him very bluntly, do you see any signs of slippage in Ouma, and he held back for a second as if not wanting to say what he thought, then let go with a begrudging yes.

It's going to be tough to rebuild Ouma, whose heart and will are still there but his body is beginning to go a bit. He still has all the determination to do great things in the sport, but I think that all the rough fights, the uneven matchmaking, and the incredible ammount of energy it takes for him to perform his game plan.

Cory Spinks will be the toughest fight for Ouma.

are rematch with Kamzin is good too.

Spinks has a tricky style, and I think already has a fight scheduled. Is Spinks pretty much considered the man at 154? Since he's busy, I'd say Ouma should go for Rivera, Simms, Karmazin again, or maybe that young guy who defeated Santos.

Ouma-Quartey would be a good match also.

Ouma looked just fine in his last couple fights at 154. Moving up to 160 had to have been for money purposes only.
