    Maskaev UD12 Okhello

Maskaev beats Okhello UD 12. Oleg KD Peter once, and Peter spit out the mouthpiece three times.

I have not seen the fight -- just read a Russian forum.

    Maskaev retains WBC title!
    By Alexey Sukachev at ringside
In a tactical, but crowd-pleasing way WBC heavyweight champion Oleg Maskaev (34-6, 26 KOs) easily retained his belt versus durable voluntary challenger Peter Okhello (18-5, 16 KOs) of Uganda via twelve-round unanimous decision. Defending champion scored a knockdown with a huge right uppercut in round ten and cruised to a wide decision on all three cards: 120-107, 120-107, 118-109. More to come...

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sensational Russian heavyweight prospect Alexander Povetkin (10-0, 8 KOs) kayoed former cruiser champion Imamu Mayfield (25-9-1, 18 KOs) in his most impressive fight to date. After a relatively slow first round, Povetkin rocked his opponent with a devastating right hook; then dropped him down to the canvas. Mayfield was able to beat the count and survive the round. In round three, the Russian fighter went toe-to-toe with his foe and rocked the American with the same shot and finished him off with the straight right for the count. Another spectacular performance for the 2004 Athens Olympics super heavyweight gold medalist.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rising cruiser Mikhail Nasyrov started impressively but was forced to go an 8-round against Canadian David Whittom. The Russian boxer faded visibly in late rounds and was deducted three points for continously spitting out his mouthpiece, however he cruised to a unanimous decision: 78-74, 78-74, 78-75. Nasyrov is now 17-0, 11 KOs, while Whittom drops to 7-3-1 with 4 KOs.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Russian middleweight prospect Dmitry Pirog (7-0, 6 KOs) scored a sensational first round TKO over faded American journeyman Rodrigues Moungo (12-13, 9 KOs).

Maskaev will lose his next fight, whether its against Peter or Toney.

I am not sure -- Oleg beat Rahman very convincingly, and Rahman beat Toney, and Toney beat Peter (depending on how you look at it). Oleg may do just fine against Peter or Toney.

I think Peter would find his chin and crush him but Toney would be a competitive fight.

i think peter hits to hard, and id like to see oleg/toney

maskev could probally beat anyone outside Wlad (although he has a punchers chance) and peter

styles make fights my friend. Your logic tree there is the same as the Mayorga over Forrest, Forrest over Shane, Shane over Oscar=Mayorga over Oscar. It just doesn't work that way. Plus, Oleg did knock out Rahman in both fights but was losing most of the rounds in both fights. He might be able to catch Toney (I doubt it) but I don't think he could KO Peter who stayed on his feet against Wladimir

It is true -- he is Asian. His father is a Mordva. Mordva are Asian people that have been almost completely assimilated by the Russian people.

                  Russians are 25% Asian.

Nope, Oleg would have won on the scorecards even if he had not KOed Rahman.
