It's simple. Ouma stayed braced with his hands up when Taylor had distance to punch, and really only opened himself up to throw when Taylor was crowded and had shorter punches. The big punches that landed Ouma was ready for, being defensive and set to take them on the outside. Oh, and he was in great shape (as always) and does have a good chin, as well. :-)

Not true, i looked up Oumas record one time and he got ko'd as a welterweight. Move up to jr. middleweight then was able to take a better shot, untill he ran into Romanzin who put Ouma down i think 2-3 times in a fight.
He just don't have one punch ko power.
The added weight at middleweight surley helped Ouma take Taylors shot.Comment
