      2. Hopkins
      3. Pacquaio
      4. Rafael Marquez
      5. Mayweather

Didn't include Taylor because although competion level is very impressive, his skills & performances aren't in the top 5. Thought that Hopkins lost the second bout due to inactivity, & 1st & Winky bout very dubious. Not a top 5 performance against the smaller Ouma either. Would put him around 7.

Hopkins very impressive in dismantling of Tarver, considered to be the best LH at the time. A two-division jump with that kind of performance, along with his past exploits easily make up to the rather lack-lustre performances against Taylor

Wright extremely consistent, and has beat an impressive array of top names in recent years.

Mayweather may be top on skills, but not the performances or the opponents to match.

Rafael Marquez - very impressive, always consistent, good opponent level, & great finisher. Looks exactly like what he is in his fights - one of the best around.

Calzaghe gets number 6 - could be higher if he wants, & win against Taylor or Kessler gets him there, but quality of opponents & fighting down to opponents level keeps him just out.

As for you missing the memo, well i'm not sure about that. this is an opinion thread, and thats how i see it. If you disagree thats cool. its your right.
