Alot of them use the name of companies that sponsor them for some odd reason.

interesting you ask about the names because i was wondering about that also. I did however stumble across some Australian boxing on youtube and one of the guest commentators asked about the thai names, the other guy on the panel said that many of the thai's take on their gym names because of the length of their last names.
