I think Tyson would KHTFO the vote was a joke but thew point is you can't say that Tyson is a kung fu master and back it by " well you don't know what he knows" . Don't work that way sorryBTW James Figg had faster hands and hit harder then Tyson cus I seen it in a book .Comment

See, you’re falling into the old cliché that all professional wrestlers are actors who have no training in grappling or what not. That’s ****ing wrong because they do and I know Austin has as he trained for a bit with Lewis Pearce who taught everyone grappling/submission etc(Remember how technically sound Austin was while in WCW, the guy could hit a submission from anywhere)
As well as that many train in different disciplines to. Goldberg for example is black belt in both tai kwan do and Akida and as well as that, has practised in BJJ.Comment

What I never understood, even in watching some of the MMA fights, how come a lot of these fighters don't punch when they are on the ground?This is just a prime example of a very old debate, the grappler vs. the boxer. It's really quite simple actually, if the grappler is able to get the boxer off of his feet and onto the ground where he is out of his league, the grappler wins. If the boxer is able to land flush on the grappler coming in to take him down, the boxer wins, it's really simple.
That said it has to be an actual GRAPPLER, not a professional actor/wrestler. I think Mike Tyson would eat Austin alive, literally, right after he KO'd him.
{referring to the one that is on his back}
If you have One arm free, that is enough to Punch sombody in the skull...in a real fight, You can poke a bitches eyes out, grab the testicles, spit, bite, etc.
And don't tell me it isn't possible to punch when you are on the ground...I have been in a street-fight before where I was taken down by a little ***** (who was on the wrestling team) when I wasn't even paying attention...My adrenaline kicked in, I freaked on the kid, and I started to hit him in his head.
I swear, I see some of these fight on MMA, and you see a fighter with either one hand free, or even both, yet they don't punch, they just take the punishment coming...it's like they just fold mentally...unless of course he is completly exhausted or has been stunned to the point of not knowing where he is.
I know there are great grapplers out there that once you are down, they basically have both legs pinned, and both arms pinned in a bout two seconds, but if you have any weapon free, you used it.Comment

He has wrestled with Kurt Angle ,Brock Lesner , Dan Severn, Ken Shamrock , etc . I'm sure he's picked up a thing or two . Even if it is fake it's still like sparing. And i'm sure they all work out together and trade tips .See, you’re falling into the old cliché that all professional wrestlers are actors who have no training in grappling or what not.
