that is a hand to hand combat move. techniques like that and many other are taught by carl cestari, chris pizzo, and damian ross(many others too), it's pure self defense, nothing at all to deal with sport, it is life and death type ****. highly effective.

alot of that kind of stuff was used as police tacitcs in the early 1900's in shanghai, which was at the time, i don't know about now, but it is recorded as the most violent city in the world. the shanghai municipal police were some of the most ruthless bastards ever.
