Jose Antonio Rivera vs Tarvis Simms

No one is really talking about this fight yet. This is going to be a good fight. I'm looking forward to this on the same card as Toney vs Peter. Any thoughts??? That's Travis Simms.

Rivera looked surprisingly strong in his last outing. If he is in that same shape for this fight, it's unlikely that a guy who has not been in the ring for more than two years will beat him. I got Rivera getting this victory.

No love for this fight????? Both guys fought Terra Garcia with Rivera's being one of the most exciting fights this year. I think Rivera stops him late after wearing him down. His workrate, chin, & defense are underated & he'll geive hell to any active Jr. Middle. Hey Ice are you & Rivera in training for the fight yet? He looked like he was in shape on a interview I saw yesterday. By the way, Simms looks like a boxing Martin Lawerence.

Simms hasn't been in the ring in a long time so I think it's correct to favor Rivera here. Simms was putting together a few nice wins before the long layoff...starching Garcia in five and then outpointing a game Bronco McKart. A couple of things that Simms has going for him is that he's pretty strong and he's a southpaw. I am definitely interested to see who wins this.
