Dmitriy is an exceptional fighter, there was a time in which I thought he wasn't going to adapt well to the professional style of fighting, but I was disproved in his last performance against Campos when he had to really get in there and work hard against a tough guy. 2007 will be an exceptional year for him.

When he was with Hector Rocha, Rocha tried to turn him into a slugger. With all the trainers he's had so far, he's been stuck between styles very often and it caused conflict with him in the corner. He's a very cerebral fighter, when he's in the right mode it's as if he's at ringside analyzing the situation while simultanously acting out his game in the ring. When he gets his game going proper, he's going to be a very serious force at 140 and 147.

Your plenty ****ing ****y for an amature...

If you have this attitude that you can knock anyone out then you will get KTFOed.

Once you achieve something then maybe you can talk, but till then just STFU and respect the pros.

Not a flame, just honest advise.

so bascily he could slugg and box.

it better to be good at one and develop it and then try the other one as another.

His change of style is advantge and disadvatnge adv. is that he could choose the right style against an opponet the disadv is that he cant master a style. it better to go with two styles and develop them

It's funny, I remember when he first turned pro and even before he got in the ring for the fight, I was immediately drawn to his charisma. Then I saw him get in there and he was beating the life out of guys with Golden Glove moves. After some hard 10 rounders, he's become a more complete professional than he was maybe a year ago. He's ready for a step up.

Don't sweat it Versatile, some people just aren't ready to hear certain things without trying to judge. You did nothing or said anything that warranted having to explain any further.

See, old fashioned type people think that all boxer's need to act like Joe Louis and be humble, but they don't understand the psychology of things. If I go into a fight all humble and quiet, then I'm not going to be fired up and will be passive and not perform to my optimum. Going in there and saying I'm going to do this and do that is my way of taking my natural fear and turning it into energy I can use to fuel myself. If that upsets some people, they can jerk me off afterwards.

I'm not saying you're ****y, you have every right to be justifiably proud of sparring Salita. He's an exceptional fighter as I said, and it's perfectly normal for a trainer to say that you gotta go with light sparring, it's insane to be doing violent stuff 2 weeks before a fight. Forgive your tormentor, he didn't understand what you were talking about.
