This is another thing that I find so strange.

Who in the hell is claiming that Tony's power is so great? His strengths lie in that he's so big for 147 and can wear on guys.

I've never read someone harp on how hard he punches.

He does punch extremely hard. He's not an explosive or super accurate puncher but heavy handed in the Foreman mold. He doesn't produce the one punch knockouts because he doesn't have the speed and accuracy.

Personnaly, Clottey didn't show me how bad is Margarito.

I knew before the fight that Antonio is a wild, slow, amateur fighter that's only plan in any fight is to throw his wild innacurate punches. It works well against unexperiments fighter like Cintron and against other brawler, but he will loose against any elite fighter he'll fight. He has no intelligence in a ring...
Just see how he threw some large jab and Clottey easily caught him with left hook ( SOMETIMES TRIPLE LEFT HOOK ) . That's just show how slow Margy is. If you get caught by triple left hook, there's a problem...

It remembered me of Pbf against Gatti when Pbf was throwing triple right hand before Gatti was able to defent himself...

Margarito was exposed, plain and simple. He's overrated, he's knocked out some lesser opponets in impressive fashion but that's it. it reminds me of Mike Tyson back in the day, KO'ing all the fighters nobody had heard of and gaining this huge following for it. Then what happens? 2 words, Buster Douglas. And suddenly the balloon that was Tyson deflated quicker than a Las Vegas blowup doll on Friday night.

There were points in the Clottey-Margarito fight where Margarito was so horrible he made Clottey look like De La Hoya. Had Clottey not hurt his hands he would've won a comfortable decision and took Margarito's title (which he bought from a pawnshop in Tijuana). Margarito's got 4 ****ing losses already and he has the balls to say he's being ducked by fighters who've won as many titles as fights he's lost.

I'll give this ****er one more shot. All you Margarito fans say he had a bad night, so I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt. I'll be watching his next fight but if he ducks Williams I'm done. If he fights Williams and looks like he did against Clottey, that's it. You guys can take your overhyped, overblown, undertalented paper champion and stick him right back up your asses where he came from. PERIOD.

No, I'm a fan of boxing. And any serious boxing fan would give any fighter (even one they disliked) another chance to prove himself to them. Every fan of his is saying he had a bad night, was injured, was affected by the layoff, etc... So I'm giving him one more shot to prove to me that he has something, anything that would warrant him calling out guys like Mosley and Mayweather.

In my eyes Margarito is 0-3 for me, I've seen his last 3 fights and none of them really impressed me that much. The Clottey fight just brought out a lot of anger because frankly, I'm sick of the whole "most feared man in boxing" ****.

Losses don't tell the story of a fighter. Glen Johnson has like 12 losses. Doesn't mean he's not a good fighter.

The whole "fear issue" is true wheather you want to belive it or not.

And don't classify me as one who said Margarito had an off night, he did good he impressed me.

And don't try to act like your a fan of Margarito, you're in the same line as many people here, the Margarito hater line, judging by your avatar you seem to be first in line.
