I wish I had the source for these numbers but I don't anymore.

Anyway, no way in hell does Eubank come any close to hitting at 1000 PSI, let alone a ton or more. He was probably closer to 500 realistically.
Bob Fitzsimmons was officially a freak of nature.

I want to see some hard evidence, not some internet bull****.

What was the technology they used back then, how loud a donkey screams?

They had PSI measuring machines back then.

yeh but your giving figures without evidence i used to take the piss out of a tyson fan for the same thing!

except he was saying that tyson was like 9999psi and brunos was 50, or something to that effect

Yeah I know I have no hard evidence right now but the source was a reliable and honest poster from another forum, and the first source was a newspaper from 1902. I'll put it this way, I don't believe everything but I believe this guy when he says he read a newspaper article that had Fitz punching at 1050 PSI. Interestingly Jim Jeffries hit at 1150, so there wasn't a huge difference between how hard Fitz hit and how hard the 210-220 lb. Jeffries hit in terms of raw PSI at least. You can doubt the accuracy of the machines back then but using the same test as Jim, Fitz was hitting just about on the level of the best and most athletic modern sized heavyweight of that era.

Eubank has said a few times that he could punch with "two tonnes of pressure". Never heard him say six tonnes.

Can "Power" really be measured accurately?

Think about it, in a fight your adrenaline is pumping and you are throwing to hurt your opponent, or in Tyson's case hitting with "Bad Intetnions."
