No way Paq-JMM is winning fight of the year anymore. They'll probably give it to Barrera-Morales, though if they don't then Trinidad-Mayorga will win easily.

Paq-JMM was too long ago and was a draw. I know there were knockdowns but Barrera-Morales, IMO, still was the more exciting fight.

i am not too sure of that, i have not personally seen the fight MAB-EM 3 but i heard somewhere in this forum that its one sided, is there any truth about this guys???

my guess if its not MAB-EM 3 for FOY it will surely be PAC-JMM, Trinidad fight was to lopsided...

The scoring of the rounds was probably 8-4. I thought 7-5. Each round though was close. Many were hard to score as evidenced by the judges. The action was FURIOUS in each round though. The last 2 rounds when Barrera was clearly completely exhausted were high drama.

Everything a FOTY candidate should have.

It's kinda funny, but the prime candidates for " Fight of the Year" like JMM-PAC, TITO-MAYORGA,& MAB-ERIK were in my opinion entertaining but lopsided bouts, but I'd definitely give my vote to Erik Morales vs. Marco Antonio Barrera.
