Jirov would literally kill Calzaghe. They're nowhere near the same size, and Jirov comes straight foward throwing hard shots. I think it would be a joke, because Calzaghe would land like fifty punches in a row and he'd walk through them like Jason and just land to the body. Cal would get hit with body shots when he'd try and throw straight shots, only because of how relentless and ruthless Jirov was. In his prime he was one of the greatest cruiserweights I've ever seen. It took a subperb James Toney performace to beat him and untill this day I still say that's Toney's best win. Even better than Nunn.

How did you score toney-jirov??? i think the judges scoring was well off. i had it 115-113 for toney last time i watched it. It has to be one of the best fights i've seen.

You obviously don't know how badly Calzaghe has struggled to make 168, and just how hard he hit back in the day before the hand got so fragile.

Calzaghe is a 200lb man, and when he loaded up the left hand he hit harder than heavyweights with it.
