Ive bad ankle spains and it took me 3 days to get up and walk.Ive also had wrist sprains(punching walls,fat people or what ever) and it has took months for the pain to go away,meaning it was still injured.
Im sure he will get it treated unlike me but it does take longer for your wrist to heal. I dont think he will take all 3 months off. Either way he cant train with that sprained wrist and 3 months might be exagerating.
