I wish there was film of this fight. This and the first LaStarza fight were the two that Marciano came the closest to losing in, if I recall correctly.

Yeah same here. I would like to see just how close this fight was/how close Marciano came to being stopped, or see more articles (thanks to Yogi) about it.

Actually I was good friends with Archie Moore and Mister Moore was very happy to know that I knew Ted and he used to send me messages to pass on to Tiger Ted when I saw him..... Mister Lowry is avery nice, humble type of man...he definitely feels he could have gotten the decision in one of the fights with Marciano but he doesnt complain about it or yellthat he got robbed..he seems to respect Rocky a great deal.
