why the heck did Quartey and Ouma move up to 160 to fight against hard opponents like Winky and Taylor. Quartey and Ouma have no chance against winky and taylor. Quartey and Ouma should have pick much for easier fights maybe against Soliman, Mora, or even Pavlik. But I guess they rather get more money than establish themselves as good 160 lb. fighters. Africans will do anything for a quick buck.

I agree, I just said that in another thread about Winky. I was excited about the Ike fight because I thought it was at 154, then I find out its at 160. Thats a punk move to me. Winky had already stated that he wanted to fight the Oscar-Floyd winner so why make Ike fight you at 160? He had no chance of winning there. Ike looked like a WW while Winky looked like a SMW.

Both Ike & Oscar could give Winky trouble at 154 but he kills both of them at 160. Dude is always trying to get his way and thats why Im glad that other fighters are laughing in his face at his demands.

I thought it was bull**** as well. I am a fan of Ouma and wish Quartey well because I feel he is overlooked because of the era he fought in. They boh made bad moves imo.

How can you say that those guys are fighters and fighter4s pick fighters pick fight they think they have a shot at winning what happen to ike was natural he landed some good shots but wink is a better, taller stronger and deffinitely a great defensive fighter. Now for ouma and Taylor it remains to be seen Ouma a good fighter and is very defensive, Athletic hits hard and a brawler will jermain Knock him Out doubt it maybe a stumble but Knock out no you guys need to follow boxing alittle more before you guys make assumptions and say all african fighters wiil fight quick for a buck. Cause no fighter just fight just for the money or they shouldn't be boxers.
