Wrights NEW FOUND offensive STYLE is perfect for a war with DLH!!!!!!!!! AGREED??????

    Think about it.

They are both come forward fighters. They both can punch (Winky can punch, he just has a comitment problem )

If Winky fights like he has been, A WRIGHT-DE LA HOYA matchup could be one for the ages. I think WRIGHT would really work for a Stoppage in that fight, and i think he could do it in the later rounds.

I thought he could have stopped Quartey, he just didnt comit to any big punches.

And DLH is a different fighter now as well. He's throwing more combinations, and better ones, it seems. Maybe thats just because Mayorga is a wide puncher.

But if both fighters most recent fights tells me anything, its that a DLH-WRIGHT fight would be an awsome action fight.

I think DLH could possibly hurt Wright and get him into some trouble. And i could see WRIGHT wearing DLH down and stopping him late.

AFter Mayweather, there is no fight i would rather see.

    Waddaya think?

Good eye there, football. I was also thinking last night that when the time comes for DLH-Wright, it will be a much better fight than some expect. Wright is aging and slowing a bit, but throwing a lot of leather and making for better scraps. DLH does not bounce as much as in yesteryear either.

De Le Hoya's power and chin will keep him in this fight. I think you are wrong to forsee a stoppage though. Wright is not going to stop DLH. His chin is stronger than Ike's was and Ike made it. But it will be a very good fight either way.

Its hard to predict a stoppage, i agree, but its only hard because we've never seen WRIGHT really press for one.

if WRIGHT goes into to round 1 thinking KNOCKOUT, i think he'll get one in the later rounds.

And believe me, It will have nothing to do with DLH's chin. More his stamina and his body. think GATTI-BALDOMIR

I just don't see Wright doing that. If he does it will be hard for him to throw 1,000 punches like he did vs Ike. Guys that throw 1,000 shots a fight (Ouma, Margarito, Wright) often take off on their power to be able to do so. Whatever style Wright uses it will be a good fight and I hope people appreciate it.

Umm Quartey obviously didn't have the power at middleweight to trouble Winky in the slightest... So why not open up and let his hands go? I don't think its something we will see too often unless Winky only fights Blown up welterweights from here on in.. I know I know Oscar is not a true Middle weight.. BUT Oscar is 6 feet tall.. and has carried his power with him at least at Lt Middle which is where I suspect a fight with Winky would be... If Mosleys power could bother Winky(Remeber in the 2nd fight when he put his hands down and let Mosley hit him? ) I am sure DLHs would as well..

I get the feeling that if Wright fight Delahoya, he will just revert back to his cautious just win one round at a time style. I think he wouldn't want to risk too much like against Trinidad.

Wright said he didn't really step it up against Tito because he didn't want to risk getting hit with a big punch.
