    Jim Gray Is Horrible!

Does anyone else feel Jim Gray is the biggest DOOOSH BAG ever? I mean the guy has the voice/face of a male librarian and he has no respect/credibilty in the sport what so ever.

You see the way he grabbed ARUM and tried to turn him towards the camera to talk? WTF?????? Thats like something Ryan Seacrest would do to a no name American Idol wanna be??? No RESPECT.

Also he said to ARUM lets not reduce a possible Margarito vs Cotto bout to being Mexico vs Puerto Rico

WTF who is JIM GRAY to talk to ARUM and all these fighters in such a condescending manner? Jim Gray is DULL, ******ED and out of PLACE i even think that African American Chick on Showtime does a hell better job on the post fight interviews than that doooooooooosh bag!

i'm not a fan either of the bastard, he shows next to no respect for fighters and ask's the most obvious questions that he already knows the answers too.

and after the Pete Rose fiasco i think gray should be hung upside down and drained from the carotid....................

Gray will actually ask tough, relevant questions instead of nuthugging or asking the average run-of-the-mill ****.

He called Don King on Briggs-Liakhovich being nearly unwatchable, he concentrated on Clottey's injury during the interview - he was right to have Arum look at the camera and not "reduce the fight to a Mexican/Puerto Rican" - you can grab hundreds of Mexicans and Puerto Ricans out of the crowd and have a rivalry - it's two elite welterweights fighting each other, first and foremost.

Gray has balls bigger than Larry Merchant - and let's not forget he's a SPORTS COMMENTATOR not just a personality on boxing telecasts. You'll see him interviewing NBA players 24 hrs. prior to doing a fight...

He's not condescending, he's doing he's job. Every fighter says he'll fight whoever the promoter has put him against. Gray wants the fighter to say he'll fight so-and-so. That's not being a boring prick. That's being a journalist...

I'm actually another one that finds him dull, boring, and completely out of place. He has like no personality or characteristics to be doing what he does. I honestly could do a better job and look cooler to boot. People talk so much **** about Larry Merchant, yet he has so much personality whether you love him or hate him. He may talk slow and **** though it's hilarious and somehow fits in at times(and other times it doesn't). I also thought Jim was really lame last night with Arum how he pulled him over to the camera and then was like, let's not reduce this to simply a Puerto Rican vs Mexican war. Arum was saying it in a playful, fun way, and then how Jim countered it, it made it all seem bad. Didn't like that **** and I don't like him.

yeah but Larry atleast will make jokes and make it fun, funny or nostalgic. he often uses classic historical references to make his points, and i respect that.

jim gray is just a boring snoozefest dull librarian who should stick to his day job at the library.

the average fight fan on this forum could do a better job and thats REAL TALK!

u dont see anything wrong with him seriously? u wouldnt want a more interesting, credible boxing commentator? i certainly would. i guess theres no problem if one likes librarians, and turns the volume slightly high as they go 55mph in their volvo blasting Phil Collins.

like i said, the african american chick on showtime even does better cant quite recall her name right now, Larry does better, Jim Lampley does better, Max Kellerman, basically someone with more credibility or just PERSONALITY shiiiiiit. like i said any passionate fight fan on this forum could ROCK that librarian out of his job. i bet you could even do it too bro!
