Cotto is the best welterweight right under floyd

Hell no! Just for 1 fight at welterweight he becomes the 2nd best? im not even sure what Quintana was ranked at welterweight, margarito has been fighting nothing but top 10 ranked welterweights time after time. you cant based that just because cotto had a better night. Margarito was a little rusty but he still got the "W".

SAN D13GO VILLAN hey smart guy who was the main event tonight----> yeah that's right Cotto--->Margarito keeps having all this bad nights if Joshua C would off kept fighting the way he was fighting he would off kick Margaritos ASS. Margarito will nver be the main event So cotto should be 2 best in the welterweight division. Cotto=STAR--> Margarito= runner up half way to becoming a star but if keeps and will loose very soon.

no doubt, if clottey doesn't hurt his hand he would of tore marg's overrated ass up.

Collazo should be ranked higher shouldnt he. He has been operating at Welter for quite a while now and hasnt been beaten for ages before Hatton took him.

Margarito hurt hit wrisk to in the middle rounds and you cant tell me Margartio wasnt rusty for all the inactivity.

Yeah ok brainiac!!! but that just not the way it works just because cotto was the main event, that dont get him ranked #2 at welterweight

. Lets wait and see what happens when he gets hit by a power puncher at welterwieght!!!! because we allready know what happen when he got hit by a powerpuncher at 140!

TOny has fought very few rated contenders.

Cotto impressed the hell out of me last night. He has my vote for #2. Clearly Margarito has been there longer and he is the champion but he looked crappy last night. I'll give him a pass because he fought a tough unheralded opponent and that isn't easy especially coming off of a lay off. Here is the good thing...these guys are probably going to fight next year so we can end all of this conjecture.
