Video: Jeff Lacy does the funky chicken

When Jeff Lacy finally gets KO'd (and I believe it WILL happen) it's gonna be almost Judahesque in quality.

I think you might be right, Anorak. He was shaken like this before (well not exactly like this, but similar) against Omar Shaika (sp) I seem to recall??

Lacy was schooled by Joe. On this evidence, I wouldn't put Lacy in the same ring as Kessler either. He isn't in the same league as Calzaghe or Kessler. As long as Joe and Kessler are around, Lacy will always be a secondary player at 168.

Lets go ahead and say it, Jeff Lacy can not box. He packs a mean punch, but has little to no boxing skills. There was no head movement, hardly any jabs, no squaring up of the shoulders and making his punches count. He was looking for a the KO for a good part of the fight. Had he jabbed and set up his power shots he could have won easily. I lost the little respect I had for Jeff Lacy.

Question for all the folks who saw the Lacy fight last night. Is it fair to say that Jeff is a different fighter than the one before the Calzaghe fight? Or is it too early to make that judgement?

He looked the same but was confused by how well Tsypko started to box him after the first few rounds and was gassed by the 5th.........I was there live and very saddened as a huge fan of his........I think he can still be good he just has to use his jab more rather than just the first few rounds and stop head hunting........he has the heart,chin,power and speed at times but lacks a complete fight.

I think Lacy's psyche was the problem last night. When he couldn't put the guy away he seemed to collapse mentally. Joe Blow was in his head, saying:

Even at 154 with the effort he gave last night.......he looked like a more skilled Ouma last night.
