Anyone think less of Cotto after last night?

I like Cotto a Hell of a lot and it's hard to be too critical of someone when they've just won a "world" title by fifth-round TKO.

But last night for the second time running he again showed he had serious problems with anyone who could box with him, and looked lost in there at times.

Okay, at other times he cut off the ring impressively, but I wonder what a master boxer could do to him?

Also, although it's a boxing match and you're supposed to get hit sometimes, Quintana did buckle his legs with a body shot. Cotto's only ever been hurt by head shots before. Note also that until the fifth round even Cotto's best was bouncing off Quintana. Does Cotto have the power and punch resistance at 147?

I think that the bout finally made him into the superstar he wasn't at 140. Quintana had nothing for Cotto save for a few desperation blows that had marked effects on Cotto. He's not a world champ to me yet, he is though the best fighter at the weight I think, and if he beats guys like Margarito, he'll be something special in my estimation.

What? He won by TKO in the 5th and beat an undefeated fighter. If a fighter can overcome problems than thats what makes a champion. So, Mayweather never faced problems with other fighters. Yes, and he overcame them that's why he is considered P4p.
