    was pbf right?

of not wanting to fight margarito despite arum offering him 8mil i know that this topic has been brought up too many times already..

but the way margarito performed against clottey i think that pbf did the right thing and margarito dont need to beat a top 10 contender he needs to beat a top gun in order to fight PBF..

I don't even care what Arum says. He thinks Margarito is better than Floyd but before the Judah fight Floyd was better than Sugar Ray Leonard Tommy Hearns, and Roberto Duran.

He basically took the same paycheck to fight Baldomir and he doesnt give a flip about titles, so yes, PBF was clearly ducking Margarito. Right or not, whos to say?

I hardly think the Margarito-Clottery performace was relavent because its a totally different time, fighter, and so forth. Thats like saying if Tyson fought Ali he'd detroy him cause Tyson destroyed Holmes who beat Ali, and all that other bull**** analysis boxing fans use.

yeah Margarito although an entertaining fighter to watch, is not an elite fighter such as: PBF, Winky, or Oscar. i never bought all the HYPED up BS PR that ARUM made him out to be, yet so many actually believed and bought into that crap.

At least Baldomir beat 2 stand out fighters, one of whom was Zab Judah. I've never seen Margarito take on a guy with a tenth of the talent Judah has.
