Thats hard for me to belive because Cotto isn't the defensive counter-punching type like Clottey was tonight. People seem to down Margarito only because he didn't knockout Clottey in the first round, but yet people would have still talked **** and say he beat a nobody. After watching the reply I felt Margarito did good by working the body very good against someone who was very defensive minded and who kept his hands up all the time. It's not like Margarito was having trouble with some ****en bum. I've said it already and I'll say it again, Margarito fought a better fighter than Cotto did tonight.

This is all pointless isn't it?

Williams is Margaritos mandatory. He won't even have a title after he fights williams so he might never have a fight with Cotto. At least not any time soon.

I agree with you on the body punching, which was really the only thing that impressed me about Margarito other than the punch output.

i understand that. I don't feel that Clottey is a bum. He really only lost one fight and thats against Marg. Quintana and Clottey are like what and what though.
