No more mention about Margarito taking on Mayweather. I'll be the first to admit I was a light fan of Margarito, I'd seen 5 fights of his, thought he was a decent fighter with solid power who could possibly aggravate Floyd. That said I never gave him more than a puncher's chance, which equals out to about 0 against Mayweather.

Clottey was kicking Margarito's ass until his hand ****ed up on him. He was en route to taking his title and if his hand didn't give, he would've. Margarito no longer has the right to call out Mayweather, infact, anytime he does, I give everybody my permission to shove a stick up his ass and slap his wife in the mouth.

I agree with the author of this thread. Margarito was showing that he could be hit up with relative ease, and by a guy who is nowhere near the speed or skill of Mayweather.

I'd hate to have to agree with you there. except i think clottey's chin was a huge factor tonight. he's built like a rock and has a iron chin. mayweather wouldnt be able to take the same punishment but he wouldnt have to cuz of his speed.

floyd does not have much better speed then clottey. he does do alot of things different then clottey, however. he gives you different looks and confuses you...something clottey rarely did. mayweather is also a legit welterweight but he is undersized - something clottey is not. margarito - mayweather is still a fairly dangerous bout.
