Tonights Thoughts on Clotty/Margio, Lacy/Tsypko, Cotto/Quin, Winky/Ike

hey guys, i did a pbp for every fight and watched them for the most part and what a exciting night!

first off...Margio needs to go learn how to throw straight punches and basic defence LOL if clotty didnt break both of his hands, margio would have been murdered....also margio didnt land ONE ( not even ONE) power punch the entire fight...i was a margio fan before this fight mind you, he was all hype and will get KNOCK THE **** OUT BY MAYWEATHER/COTTO/WILLAM/ZAB JUDAH/QUINTANA/etc...i see a bright future for clotty if he gets both hands fixed, he showed very very fast hand speed, great foot work and amazing power...he fought very smart and like a real fighter, he was all about the pleasing the fans......i dont rele care about how the ending turned out, everyone knows, if clotty didnt break both hands, he would have MURDERED Margio!

The Cotto/Quin fight was amazing....iam very scared of cotto now, the dude has some serious power! quin was fighting a wonderfull fight and he was whopping his ass with body shots and ripping him with jabs! durign the last round, cotto switched his style up and threw quin off...they had like 4-5 serious exchanges and cotto landed a seriously hard body shot that put him down, after that was landed i knew he was done! Quin said NO MAS! i have no idea what to do with cotto, i think he might be ready for some top 3 guys!

Lacy/Tsypko fight was kinda sad.....Lacy was suppose to run right thru this guy, but he had huge trouble! i dont no what to do with lacy anymore...not much you can say

Winky/Ike....i had no idea why they even put ike in their....this fight was full of arm punches with bull**** knock downs! LOL you cant really say anything about this fight! every round was the same and winky just dominated him! Pretty boring winky right fight, thats usuall!

All in All, it was a alright night of fighting! i had loads of fun doing pbp....iam a huge cotto fan now and like i said, iam scared of cotto`s power now! Margio is a joke and cant honestly be the most dangerous anything! I guess the only option for winky is a rematch with the winner of next week or Calzage!

this was one of the best weeks this year...

but i though the winky fight was real exciting, even thoug he did dominate him... i missed the cotto knockdown, but its bout to come back on in like 20 mins...

this was winky's best performance yet, even better than the tito fight.

lacy's nothin but hype. i cant believe i backed him. calzone's win over his is much less impressive now.

cotto crushed quintana with a body shot, like i predicted. thats my boy!

i hear clottey got robbed. and margarito and his nuthuggers were gassing on all this time about a fight with floyd and this is how margarito shows when hes looking for a big fight with floyd or anybody else?

a LOT was revealed in boxing tonight. winky can brawl when he wants. cotto is a monster at welterweight. clottey's gained some momentum after this night. lacy and margarito are all hype and little else.

na clottey didnt get robbed, but he would have easliy won the fight if he didnt break both his hands, i think he broke both thats what they was saying

I only saw the fights on HBO. Winky won a kind of boring fight but he did throw a lot of punches(over 1,000). That second Quartey KD was bull****, but I didn't expect Ike to win. Lacy was not impressive and I doubt he'd beat top competition in the near future.

BTW anyone know what happened during the Wright-Quartey fight? I saw the security go somewhere and everyone look in a certain direction. I LMAO when Winky got hit when he was looking outside the ring to see.

winky has no power at all, he has the skills and all..but you cant put him at number 1! flloyd is p4p 1...flloys can do everything winky does, but with much more power and he dominates top compeition! why the heck did winky fight ike anyway? ( dont tell me b/c he lost to forrest)

i disagree my friend! if flloyds moves up in weight, he will lose no doubt...but if u put flloyd and winky in the same weight class, flloys hand speed and power would overwhelm winky

Quartey was winnng the round where he got the first knockdown too. I thought Ike won 3 or 4 rounds IF you take away the first knockdown.

Horrible matchup for him. Its a huge setback for him now, when he could have beaten a good opponent at light middleweight. Other than money, I dont understand at all why he took this fight.
