    Its about promotion companies and which fighter(if he wins) will make more money. Even if they fought in front of gates to Heaven with Jesus overlooking, Tsypko would have gotten robbed.
    When a fight is on this level and the big buck is involved, place does not matter.
    Place only matters for a better marketability.

        I agree. But between 2 major fighters, fighting in areas like that, and if neither fighter has any affiliation with those areas reigonally, more times than not its neutral territory.


        not really defending tonights descision though, i really didint care either way so i dont have much opinion on it, Lacy is just not that good.

        Which is sad because hes not a bad guy, hes not a big talker, and outside of the ring his conduct is excellent.

          Your logic works with lower case fights, where region means precisely what you are describing, but when possible (future)millions are on a stake, the msg/vegas can be as good ground for robbery as germany. And indeed many robberies happened there. In our times even a ko is not a sure bet.
