Yeah, I have to say, compared to previous Margarito fights I have seen, not impressive.
He's only fought 2 times in 20 months though, and the last fight didn't go past the first round.
He's gotta get to the gym and really dedicate himself. Otherwise he is going to get floored.
He has to face Paul Williams doesn't he? That's his mandatory isn't it?Comment

Despite the injury I still had Clottey winning 115-113.
That one judge scored the fight 10-2 in Margarito's favor that's bull****. Margarito can call himself lucky tonight because he was getting he ass kicked before the injury.
Anyone who thought Margarito was the man to be Mayweather needs to find someone new.Comment

I respectfully disagree. I gave Clottey the first 4 rounds straight out. But I had Margarito 115-113.
Just because clottey was still landing doesn't mean you can give him the rounds. He got outworked because of his hand. If you land 5 clean punches a round, that doesn't mean anything if they just looked good. Especially if you got outworked the whole round.
And he ran for 1 round, I had to give Marg that round. And another round he was in the corner most of the time taking body shots. Had to give Margo that one too.
I don't see how you could give Clottey the bout. I know it's a shame that he hurt his hand, but he didn't land enough to win the fight. Even though his punches were clean, fast, he only had a few flurries like that for the rest of the fight after he hurt his hand.
Now, I don't agree with the judges at all. And the one judge, that is absolute crap. 118-109, what fight was he watching?Comment
