You guys are insane. Winky is a very good fighter but the Hopkins that beat Tito was in his prime and that guy would ****in murder Winky. That Hopkins was a All Time Great and no way Winky hangs with him. He was much more physical then Winky, stronger, same speed, and he was a bull dog back then. I think you guys forget how much of a beast Hopkins was at that time. Someone tried to compare the Taylor fights but thats a joke. Hopkins was clearly past his prime then. In his prime he wouldve murdered Taylor.

He wouldnt ***** Winky because Winky is a stud but the fight wouldnt be close and Hopkins would clearly win every round. It would be competitive but Hopkins will clearly win like 9-3 at the least and probally 10-2

If it happened, I would video-tape it, then sell it to cure insomnia

It'd be a very defensive, boring fight.

But because of who they are it would be a must see.

I disagree, I think it can be super exciting. You have to remember that Hopkins fought different back then. He was more of a bull dog and would rough you up. He's had some entertaning fights. Look how he punked Keith Holmes right before Tito and dont forget the Echols fight.

I think this fight wouldve been very excinting with Winky walking Hopkins down and Hopkins trying to just punk Winky and rough him up

Wait, Wait, Wait, are we talking about a much younger Hopkins ???

If so, yeah, I would watch it, but if it is now, or even when they were talking about making the fight, I still stick by my quote in my previous post.

Hopkins vs Echols fights were great, but Hopkins isn't that fighter anymore.

If it was a young Hopkins, I pick Hopkins by ****:

Seriously, that bull**** Winky does with his big puffy gloves, holding them high and tight, Hopkins would be the fighter to get inside, pull apart those gloves (by pulling his arms down or out), and hit him...Hopkins would be using his head too...For those that think he couldn't, well for some reason if he couldn't, Bernard would still get in tight, and hit Winky where he doesn't block, his nuts, his kidneys, and behind his head, and Hopkins would get away with it. Hopkins was a real dirty ****er back then, still is, but he has been calm of late for some reason.

The Hopkins who beat Trinidad would beat Wright and very decisively. Dude was a ****ing wizard inside and out. He'd have Wright figured out by the 6th and would strafe him with those quick right hands and left hooks inside. People really don't appreciate just how good and tough Hopkins really is.
