Wright vs Quartey=Fight Of The Year?

I wouldn't consider Quartey washed up at all. He's not in his prime anymore but has fought well since he's come back. He beat Verno Phillips, stopped Bojorquez, & arguably beat Vernon Forrest. Someone that should call it quits is Fernando Vargas because Quartey definitely doesn't belong in that same category.

Ike is just not an active enough fighter to beat Ronald. The man throws one punch at a time and it's mainly only the jab and the occasional baseball overhand right hand. I like the guy and all but saying he is gonna KO Ronald is absolutely dilusional.

hell naw this aint fight of the year. winky could never be in fight of the year because of his boring defensive, yet highly effective/successful style that would never be a fight of the year. fight of the year in my opinion is an all out WAR, with all trading, toe to toe non stop action. WINKY is none of that.

WRIGHT is TOO safe and consious to be in a war.

But i did think that the TAYLOR fight was FOTY year stuff, still my favorite fight possibly.

Wright brings a unique type of action that u cant really get from any other fighter in the sport.

Quartey is on his last straw and its easy to "feel" like u got robbed against a guy like WRIGHT.

In my honest opinion, if quartey is going to win this fight its going to be by KO. Hes gotta be throwing constantly. Hes gotta throw one-twos to keep away from Wrights jab. If he does that, then Wright is gonna try to set up some combinations.

I know winky wright well. Hes maybe my favorite fighter. And i know whent he guy is gonna be a great fight. This is definetly a matchup i want to see and it could and should show some fireworks.

Will it be FOTY? no. Watch the showtime card if u want that.

But if u dont have showtime will u be dissapointed? hell no!

lol. Grand Finale was the most onesided fight i have ever seen on PPV. no where NEAR foty. Shouldnt, and wont, even get a mention

I think most fighters have figured out how to null the jab-defense combo of Winky Wright and theres only one way to do it. CONSTANT ACTION and CONSTANT THROWING.

Taylor did and he came really close, Vargas did it and he won, Soliman did it and he did extremely well, Mosley did the second time and it a lot closer of a fight.
