A recent spate of TV appearances by Ricky Hatton led to a flurry of speculation, plus heavy criticism, over Hatton’s weight during his prolonged period of inactivity. Nothing we didn't already know.
However, Kayes was not a former world weightlifting champion! He's a former British bodybuilding champion. -
You would be surprised Geoff, people still seem to think Hatton will one day struggle to make weight or shorten his career. Yet as pointed out he is great when it comes to knuckling down and he won't be doing a B-Hop.
As for Kerry's status, I was writing about a few world Champs at the time plus juggling a fever and work commitments so it sort of crept in there whilst I was on auto-pilot when writing and it slipped through the net. I'll apologise to him and explain when I drop the hard copy off.

There only one man that was able to gain weight and then train and stay in form. And that is Roberto Duran. Bowe, Morales both used to ballon badly after a fight and it wore them down for them not taking care of their body. Who know what effects Hatton wiill show if any.Comment

It was because Duran had endless amounts ofskill and he was a natural. There are some guys who can show up to a fight bloated and out of shape, and still win because there are naturally great fighters. I hate to say it but Toney is like that, and also Duran. There only one man that was able to gain weight and then train and stay in form. And that is Roberto Duran. Floyd, however is not, he wins his fights by outconditioning his opponents.Comment

Ummmm, in case you forgot Floyd showed up out of shape against Spadafora, and he paid for it. That is why I am drawing the conclusion that he outconditions his opponents...when have you ever seen him out of shape other then Spaddy? I rest my case..

Hey dip****, I read it from Mayweather's camp and I have read articles stating he was "out of shape". And Mayweather isn't a natural...he's a taught fighter.

Wow, you're a ****ing joke. You are talking about sparring sessions. Last time I checked, those fights don't go on your record. Sparring is boxing's version of practice...Ummmm, in case you forgot Floyd showed up out of shape against Spadafora, and he paid for it.
