I think they should hold BARRERA vs PACQUIAO II in NEW YORK!

So you can avoid any bias and it would help branch out to other fans....

IT would be dope for that fight to be at the GARDEN....

I would love for oscar vs mayweather jr to be in New york instead of vegas or los angeles as well.

you seldom see these guys fight on the EAST coast accept maybe floyd jr...

and i know the east coast boxing fans are very die hard since they dont allow MMA there.

Considering the Mexican and Pinoy population in SoCal and the direct visits from Mexico and the Philippines,

I doubt they'll go to New York.

Vegas ends up seeing a very nice split of Mexican and Pinoy fans numbering each in the 1000's.

I don't think they'll want to give that demographic up.

i dont get it though...i never see oscar fight in new york! i think they do it because their are not enough mexicans and same goes for pacquiao and morales and barrera...not enough of there ethnicity.

but to be honest alot of new york fight fans would love to watch pacquiao in person...i mean in the west coast they got too many things like mma and boxing and kick boxing sanctioned its like we are spoiled.

and new york fans dont even have sanctioned mma events...I think they should give it a shot...

If you've ever been to Jersey City, you'd see that almost everybody is Filipino. Mexican people are everywhere, the economics of the game are there for the fight. Oscar knocked out Jesse James Leija in two rounds at the Garden in 1995.

damn if half of the PI is their then why dont they set up a fight in new york to reach out to new yorkers its how you can spread the word that boxing has a superstar! who will make many viewers enjoy pacman.

instead bob arum wants to send him to macau and hide him for quick monetary gain...bob arum aint looking to make multi millions for pacquiao and create a star he is only looking to make 15 million a fight off of pacquiao so averaged to 75 million a year off all arums fights!

arum is a greedy SOB and most of these promoters are...i mean they are old already they dont care in making a star.

but at least oscar is young and cares in making stars he knows the competition mma is bringing and how people need to revive boxing with guys like pacquiao....
